It extends to 6 municipalities of PR support Loma Miranda fight for RD

As a success was rated the visit of Father Rogelio Cruz, environmentalist priest Dominican Republic to Puerto Rico in an initiative called "5 Days Miranda" with the intention to internationalize the struggle for Loma Miranda in Dominican Republic, is protected as valuable natural resource, officially declared a national park and thus stop attempts to be pillaged and exploited commercially.

The result of this initiative quedaronquedaron officially sworn support committees "Loma Miranda National Park" composed of members of Dominican and Puerto Rican community in six of the most important towns of the island, which include the municipalities of Mayagüez, Carolina, Bayamon, Caguas, San Juan and Arecibo.
The group committed to educating guide and promote the protection of Loma Miranda as a natural resource, supporting conservation groups that protect the diverse natural resources of the Dominican Republic.
Among the activities developed by the environmental pastor in Puerto Rico were: the visit of 10 of the most important means of national radio and television and the Dominican community in the island
Besides Cruz, shared his visit with other Puerto Rican environmentalists, led by Alberto de Jesus Market, (Tito Kayak), Beach camp Pa 'People fighting against the privatization of the beaches in Puerto Rico.
The priest offered the lecture "Encyclical of Pope Laudato Yes" in the College of Engineers and Surveyors, the discussion group "Caribbean Environmental Struggles, Loma de Miranda and pal beach 'Village" held in the Multipurpose Room of the Student Center of the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras precinct.
