Medina holds bilateral meeting with the new president of Guatemala

President Danilo Medina held a bilateral meeting with Jimmy Morales, elected president of Guatemala, where they discussed issues of interest to both countries Thursday.

The meeting between Medina and Morales took place just before the inauguration of the new Guatemalan President ceremony also attended by other leaders of the region.

The meeting was attended by foreign ministers, Andrés Navarro and Administrative of the Presidency, Jose Ramon Peralta.

According to the press release, the Dominican president and the delegation accompanying him will return tonight for the San Isidro Air Base.
