Shoot dead mayor Juan de los Santos

He was killed at noon on Tuesday, December 15, mayor of Santo Domingo, Juan de los Santos, by a person not yet identified that empredió shot in the middle of a conflict occurred in the Dominican Federation of Municipality (FEDOMU ).

According to one of those present, the man would have asked for talks with the mayor, and the officer would have expressed that they could do it later. De los Santos then went to his office to sign some checks.

In a moment of apparent neglect, the man, who has been identified only as Luis, an alleged former employee of the municipal executive, broke into the offices and opened fire, killing the mayor and one of its security officers.
